SkinDiary Privacy Policy
Haz Studio (the "Company") values your privacy and complies with applicable privacy laws and regulations. This policy applies to the SkinDiary application (the "Service") provided by the Company.
Summary: Your face photos and skin records are stored only on your device, encrypted, and are never transmitted to the Company or any external server. However, certain information such as advertising identifiers and device information is automatically collected through Google services for advertising and service improvement purposes.
1. Purposes of Processing
The Company processes a minimum amount of information for the following purposes:
- Providing the Service: photo capture, face detection, photo analysis, and record keeping — all of which are processed entirely on your device, and none of this data is collected.
- Advertising: displaying and optimizing in-app ads (Google AdMob)
- Service improvement: app usage analytics and crash reporting (Google Firebase)
2. Information Collected and Collection Methods
a. Information collected directly by the Company: None
- The Service has no sign-up, login, or account creation process.
- Your face photos, photo analysis results, lifestyle tags, notes, and lock passcode (PIN) are stored only in your device's internal storage and are never transmitted to the Company or any third-party server.
b. Information automatically collected through third-party services
The following information may be collected automatically while you use the app, for advertising and quality improvement purposes:

3. Android App Permissions

- The Service does not request storage permissions. Photos are stored in an app-private space that no other app can access.
4. Your Rights
- Your photos and records exist only on your own device, so you can view, edit, and delete them at any time within the app.
- If you do not want personalized ads, you can reset your advertising ID or limit ad personalization in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
- To exercise rights regarding automatically collected information (access, deletion, etc.), contact us using the details in Section 8.
5. Retention Period
- On-device data (photos and records) remains only on your device until you delete it or uninstall the application. Uninstalling the app deletes all photos and records, and the Company cannot recover them.
- You are responsible for keeping and managing any backup files created with the backup export feature.
- The retention of information automatically collected by third-party services (Google) is governed by those providers' privacy policies.
6. Third-Party Provision and Processing
The Company uses the services of the provider below for advertising and service improvement. In this process, the information described in Section 2(b) may be collected by and transferred to that provider, whose servers may be located outside your country (e.g., in the United States).

Except as described above, the Company does not provide your information to any third party.
7. Security Measures
- Face photos and records are encrypted on the device (based on Android Keystore).
- App access is protected by a lock passcode (PIN) and biometric authentication.
- Photos are stored in an app-private space inaccessible to the gallery or other apps.
- Communication with third-party services uses encrypted connections (HTTPS).

9. Changes to This Policy
- If this policy changes, the Company will give notice at least 7 days before the effective date via an in-app notice or the Company website (www.hazstudio.com).
- If features involving external storage of your photos or records (such as account login or cloud backup) are added in the future, the Company will revise this policy and obtain your explicit consent before you use those features. Existing on-device features will remain available even if you do not consent.
